I'm so excited to finally be able to release these budgeting worksheets & guide. I've been working on these for quite some time now, tweaking and editing them so they're easy to use & understand. ⁣

When I first started learning how to budget, I had to piece together a budget layout and with time developed a process for handling my finances. I wanted to package up what I learned and offer it as a free resource to anyone that feels overwhelmed and knows they should be budgeting but don't know where to start. ⁣

One thing I've learned throughout these past month

One thing I've learned throughout these past months is the importance of slowing down and living more out of intent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think for a lot of us, being forced to slow down was actually a blessing in disguise. Because we weren't rushing through our day to day lives, we had time to revisit those things that we enjoyed doing when we were younger. Reading, painting, creating, enjoying the company of those around us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Although I am far from being able to say I live my days intentionally, everyday I am making small changes that lead me towards a more intentional life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A few things I'm currently working on are:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⋒ Being mindful about the items in my wardrobe⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ Drinking more water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ Being mindful about the items i'm bringing into my home⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ Creating more & consuming less.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It may not seem like much but any amount of progress is still progress. We've had some life transitions, my husband recently quit his job to pursue getting his barbering license which means no longer being on an employer sponsored healthcare plan & higher healthcare costs😑.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because of this, our progress is going to look small for the next few months, but we're grateful to be debt free and able to make these kinds of decisions.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Do you want to know the story about how I got started creating and selling my cash dividers?👀⁣

I'm a firm believer that the best ideas start with a problem. When I graduated college and started paying off my debt, I was using the cash envelope budgeting system💵. I tried using paper envelopes but found that they were bulky and I had to use new ones EVERY week because they would get soo beat up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There had to be a better way. (I also wanted to keep using that nice leather wallet I had just purchased 😜.)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, instead of envelopes, I thought dividers made more sense. I made some out of kraft cardstock and it ended up working so well! The dividers kept up nicely & my cash stayed organized throughout the week.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I knew if I was having this issue, others were going through the same. So I posted them up on Etsy and here we are 3 years and 1,000 orders later 🙌✨

I've definitely made some improvements since that first day. Through the years I came up with better workflows and a faster way to produce.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The best part is knowing that through the use of my product I've helped others with the cash envelope budgeting system in some way!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I invested in an upgrade to my office setup, a new desktop! I love my apple products, especially when it comes to the design software I use. I had been wanting a desktop but couldn't bring myself to dropping close to $2k for an iMac. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
